Second day at Liberty Forum was loads of fun
Our second day at the Free State Project's Liberty Forum was a blast! We talked to lots of freedom lovers and had some more in depth discussions with some of the other silver promoters there.
One of the most interesting vendors at the Liberty Forum was the Silver Circle movie crew. They are making a feature length animated thriller-romance movie (quite possibly in 3-D) about the struggle by some rebels in a slightly dystopian world to take on the Federal Reserve. Unfortunately, the dystopian world envisioned in the film isn't really all that different from the real world.
When we were talking to Pasha Roberts, the producer, he mentioned that he had seen at least one video of our earlier attempts to create a die set. That was very cool. We're definitely going to keep an eye on this project.
We had some interesting discussions with Eddie Allen of the American Open Currency Standard. They have improved upon the work of Bernard von NotHaus of the Liberty Dollar and have over 26,000 merchants in their nation-wide directory. That's quite an accomplishment!
Some of our discussions involved possibly working with them - both via affiliation as well as by selling and using each others products. Hopefully talks along these lines will continue.
We also talked about working together with the DelValley Silver folks. Karen Emery, their president, was at the Liberty Forum spreading the gospel and selling some nice silver. They were very excited to see our gold and silver card prototypes.
They are a fairly new business, but are getting off to a good start in their area. And while we do appreciate friendly competition and all the benefits that brings, we are glad we don't have to compete with them locally here in New Hampshire.
We talked to a lot more people all weekend long and got so much feedback it was overwhelming! There are a lot of new ideas and suggestions we will be considering.
This was one of the most exciting times we've had in a long time. Our thanks go out to the Free State Project for putting on such an incredible show.
